The 2012 Doctoral Cohort recently traveled to London and Vienna as part of their “Regulatory Strategies in Europe” course – RSCI 608.

As part of the trip, they visited the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the Center for Innovation in Regulatory Science (CIRS), The Organization for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs (TOPRA) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA – pictured above).

In addition, all the students were given the opportunity to attend sessions at the Drug Information Association (DIA) EU Annual Meeting held in Vienna.  The various topics discussed in these meetings will undoubtedly contribute to the students’ doctoral thesis research as they expand their knowledge of global issues that influence regulatory science.
