Jing ZHANG, Ph.D. (2014)

JingDr. Jing ZHANG is an Associate Professor and Associate Senior Editor in the Editorial Office of Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines, based at the China Pharmaceutical University in Nanjing, China.   Dr. ZHANG received her doctorate in Social and Administrative Pharmacy and her Master’s degree in Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences.  Her research focuses on the editing of science articles for both traditional and on-line publications, and their applications in pharmacy and biologically-oriented international journals.   She is also interested in studying the development of pharmacy journals and knowledge management and related regulatory and policy knowledge in this field.

Dr. Jing ZHANG was recently awarded a scholarship under the State Scholarship Fund to pursue study in the United States as a visiting scholar.  The scholarship, the “External Senior Visiting Scholar Program” was awarded through the China Scholarship Council, CSC (www.csc.edu.cn).  The CSC is a non-profit institution affiliated with the Ministry of Education of the P.R. China (www.moe.edu.cn).  Dr. ZHANG was selected through a rigid academic evaluation process organized by the CSC in 2013 and joined the International Center for Regulatory Science in January, 2014 where she spent a year conducting research in our program.
