Spring 2019 Commencement!

We wished good luck to all of our graduates, including Doctoral and Masters’ students, and for the first time ever, Bachelor of Science graduates in our new Pharmacology and Drug Development degree!

An Evening of Celebration!

On May 2nd, we hosted a spectacular gala, under the amazing space shuttle Endeavour, at the California Science Center! The evening was a wonderful way to celebrate and honor Mr. D. K. Kim for his enormous contribution to our program.

A milestone towards International Harmonization!

An International Medical Device Regulators Forum held on April 29 to May 3, 2019 at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Pharmacy hosted regulatory reviewers from Southeast Asia, South America, and the U.S. under the auspices of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). Training was aimed at harmonized guidance for medical devices.

Regulatory science research team presents at USC’s Undergraduate Symposium!

Regulatory science research team presented 8 posters at USC’s Undergraduate Symposium on Wednesday, April 10th. Congratulations to Jackie Chen, Kaitlyn Park and Annie Ly for winning first place in the Social Sciences I category for their project titled An Analysis of Current Trends in Inclusions of Historically Underrepresented Populations in Clinical Trials: Females, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics.

BIG win for the undergraduate regulatory research team!

Congratulations to Kaitlyn Park (Pharmacology and Drug Development), Jacqueline Chen and Annie Ly (both in Health and Human Sciences) on their first place win at the Office of the Provost’s 2019 Undergraduate Symposium.  The students were honored for their scholarly and creative work in social sciences.  Way to go Trojans!

We had a successful Spring Career Event!

Our Spring 2019 Career Event was a big success!  We hosted 20 representatives from 12 companies, and 33 interviewees got a great chance to speak one-on-one with them.  Check out the photo gallery from the event.
