Apply to the DRSc Program

Thank you for your interest in the Regulatory Science doctoral program at USC.  Given the program structure and our course offerings, we admit students to the DRSc program every two years (even years).  The fall 2018 application period is expected to open on August 7, 2017.

Application Eligibility Requirements

  • Earned bachelor’s degree with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher (official transcripts)
  • Industry experience (resume)
  • Statement of purpose
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • International students only: TOEFL (minimum 100) or IELTS (minimum 7). A Master’s degree from a US institution does not waive this requirement. 

How to Apply

Applying for admission to the Regulatory Science doctoral graduate degree program at USC is a two-part process governed by the USC Office of Graduate Admission.

1. Complete the online USC application for admission (POST/PROGRAM CODE is 1349 for DRSc Regulatory Science degree in the USC School of Pharmacy).  Note: once the application period opens, you will select fall 2018 as your intended term of admission; otherwise your application cannot be processed.  The application period will open on August 7, 2017.

2. Application fee of $90.00 (subject to change)

4. Resume

5. Three (3) letters of recommendation, academic or professional, demonstrating leadership capabilities.  Letters must be submitted online.

6. Unofficial transcripts uploaded online from ALL undergraduate and graduate institutions (even if degree was not earned)

7. In addition to unofficial transcripts, Official Transcripts in Sealed Envelopes from ALL undergraduate and graduate institutions should be sent to:

Applicants with foreign transcripts must submit an official language transcript as well as a certified translation.

8. International applicants who did not complete a 4 year undergraduate degree in the United States are required to submit a TOEFL or IELTS scores (a two year undergraduate degree or a Master’s degree from a US institution does not waive this requirement; RAC certification not accepted).

NOTE: GRE not required.
