Regulatory science research team member Jackie Chen presented her research at the Society for Clinical Trials Annual Meeting in New Orleans! Jackie has been researching with us for almost two years, looking into geriatric inclusion in clinical trials and drug labels.

We wished good luck to all of our graduates, including Doctoral and Masters’ students, and for the first time ever, Bachelor of Science graduates in our new Pharmacology and Drug Development degree!
During a recent four-day training event held at USC, the School of Pharmacy and the Southern California Clinical and Translational Science Institute played a role in helping to standardize the many regulations and policies that govern how medical devices are tested and marketed internationally.

On May 2nd, we hosted a spectacular gala, under the amazing space shuttle Endeavour, at the California Science Center! The evening was a wonderful way to celebrate and honor Mr. D. K. Kim for his enormous contribution to our program.
An International Medical Device Regulators Forum held on April 29 to May 3, 2019 at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Pharmacy hosted regulatory reviewers from Southeast Asia, South America, and the U.S. under the auspices of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). Training was aimed at harmonized guidance for medical devices.
