Welcome to the Regulatory Science Distance Program

USC Regulatory Science Distance Courses were created for busy professionals who wish to further their education in Regulatory Science but cannot travel to traditional classrooms.

Online coursework allows students to work independently and absorb new concepts at their own pace. At the same time, there is a great deal of personal contact between classmates and professor. USC online courses are taught by the same academic experts who teach in the traditional classroom. Courses are offered in concert with the standard USC semester schedule.

By using the latest in computer technology, online students are able to take advantage of USC’s exciting physical university where medical science and technology converge. The Regulatory Science program is a unique undertaking that has been built on an already strong set of science programs in health-related and engineering sciences at USC. It draws additional strength from the international reputation of USC for advanced educational programs related to business and public policy and from the special expertise that will be contributed by the newly developed Mann Institute. Course content is continuously refreshed from experts in the field who bring their academic expertise to our established program.

Working adults need the flexibility and access that is integral to online education. Online students can expect to spend on the average of 10 to 15 hours a week on course work including lectures, completing and submitting assignments electronically and reading supplementary materials.
